Billing Activity Column Explanations
DATE
Date column represents the date that your natural gas usage is measured and bill is calculated.
READING
The numbers used to determine gas usage to issue the monthly bill.
READ TYPE
Represents the source of the meter calculation/reading for a given billing period.
- Company - An actual meter reading of the meter by a company representative or taken via an A.M.D. (automated meter reading device)
- Calculated - A reading that was estimated during a non-scheduled read month.
- Adjusted - A corrected billing was issued based on a company or customer meter reading.
- Customer - The meter reading was provided by the customer and used for billing.
- Estimated - An actual company reading was scheduled but not obtained, and the billing was estimated.
CONS CCF
The amount of gas consumption, measured in hundreds of cubic feet.
NET BILL
The total of all commodity and delivery charges, including taxes, for a given billing period.
BILLING DAYS
The number of days in the billing of a month
DEGREE DAYS
Indicates the heating requirements for the month.
The higher the number of degree days, the colder the temperatures were during the billing period.
